From the Ashes: Prayer & Contemplation

In Week 3 of our From the Ashes series, we look at one of the most powerful rhythms in the life of Jesus: prayer and contemplation. Again and again, Jesus withdrew from the noise, the crowds, and the demands around Him to spend quiet time with the Father.

Through passages in Mark 1, Luke 5, Luke 6, Luke 22, and Matthew 11, we see that prayer was not just a habit for Jesus, it was the source of His strength, clarity, and surrender.

This message reminds us that:
Prayer requires us to withdraw and spend time alone with God.
Prayer strengthens us for what is ahead.
Prayer aligns our will with God’s will.

In a world full of noise and distraction, Jesus invites us into stillness. As we continue our journey to the cross, this message calls us to slow down, seek God daily, and make room for His voice.

Join us for the Easter Prayer & Contemplation Challenge and spend the next 21 days drawing near to God in the quiet.
